TCP Tuesday on Wednesday!

Hi All! So, I'm a day late on posting my TCP Tuesday card but better late than never. This week's hostess is the SUPER talented Leigh. She has created an awesome layout for us to work with. I seriously love all her layouts! For the card I decided I wanted to use a TCP Valentine's Day image. I love these little love birds...which happen to be on SALE as part of the Kitty Kat Pack. I colored everything in with my Copics and added some stickles on the heart trees. The heart chipboard is from Cosmo Cricket that has been collecting dust in my craft room. I figured I better use them sometime so I painted it with white acrylic paint and adhered it to the card. I actually like how it turned out. So, if you want to play along all you have to do is link your creation to this post or upload it to SCS using the keyword TCPTUES43. I can't wait to see everyone's cards.
Until then,

The Greeting Farm & a Challenge!

Hi All! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a relaxing one with lots of stamping time :) I was able to complete some cards using some of the other Taylored Expressions Cupcake Sampler sketches. If you didn't read my previous post then I should mention that Taylor is celebrating a year of Cupcake Challenges. So, in order to celebrate she asked her Cupcake Samplers crew to design our own sketches. Read the post below to see my sketch and how to enter. But, since I had some free time over the weekend I decided to create some cards using some other sketches created by the crew. The first card's layout is from Jami. It fit perfectly with my Anya stamp set from The Greeting Farm called "Pretty Hat". I paper pieced her hat and added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles on her necklace. I seriously LOVE these rhinestones. They add the perfect touch. Patterned paper is form Basic Grey and ribbon/cardstock is from PTI. The second card was made with Vicki's sketch. The set used on this card is also from The Greeting Farm called "Happy Chef". Isn't he the cutest? I paper pieced his chef outfit too. Taylor's Tiny Twinkles were used on this card too. Patterned paper is from SEI "Jolee Chocolat" collection. Well, that's all for today but make sure to check back tomorrow for more stamping!
Until then,

The Greeting Farm Wednesday!

Hi All! Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted since Friday. I've been a bit busy and haven't had much time to stamp..booo!! But, I did manage to finish this card last night featuring Ian from TGF. I adore him! Seriously, he is the cutest little boy stamp EVER! He reminds me of my little boy. Anyhoo, for this card I used the Basic Grey "Boxer" patterned paper and colored everything in with my Copics. I paper pieced his hat and pants with the BG paper. Card stock is from both SU and PTI. Ribbon and brads are SU. I also added some Shimmerz Blingz in Spiced Cider in the sunflower center. The sentiment is also from TGF. I love this sentiment set because it goes nicely with all my Ian and Anya stamps. There is a saying for every occasion. I love that! Well, that's all for today but I promise to bring you some more cards tomorrow. I might even make it a twofer :)
Until then,

Teacher Anya Thursday!

So, how about another TGF card? I am having so much fun with these cute Anyas. I love them ALL!! I recently got my teacher stamp and couldn't wait to ink her up. I decided to color her in with Copics and add some Shimmerz Blingz in Hottie Pink on her sweater. It is so sparkly! I also added some super yummy patterned paper from DCWV called The Sugar Pack. I love how the paper has apples on it. The flowers are Prima and the brads are SU. I also added some dew drops to complete the card. Well, I'm off to finish my card for tomorrows Cupcake Challenge.
See you then,

BTW Shimmerz Paints is looking for some new talented ladies to add the current DT. Go check out the blog for all the details on how to apply! You will love this team :)

The Greeting Farm Tuesday

Hi All! Hope everyone had a great weekend. We had a busy one since Josh had a birthday party and then we had a small gathering at the house with friends to watch the Philadelphia Eagles football game. The hubby is a huge FAN and he is so excited about the chance of them going to the Superbowl. So after all the running around and cleaning up I got a few hours to stamp. I decided to play with my new The Greeting Farm stamps. I love this set Marie has created. It's so cute. She sorta reminds me of Angelina Jolie on the Changeling. I colored her in with my Copics and added some serious shimmer with the new Blingz paints that were released yesterday! I love these new colors. They are super sparkley too! All patterned paper is from Basic Grey. Card stock is a combination of PTI and SU. Anyhoo, that's all for now but I do have some cards that are almost complete so make sure to check back tomorrow. Also, if you're interested in some blog candy head on over to the Shimmerz blog and enter for a chance to win all the new colors!
Until later,

MFT Blog Hop

Yay! It's time for another MFT Blog Hop. I seriously love this concept!! All you have to do is click on the next person's link so you can drool over everyone's creations. I can't wait to start blog hopping myself. So, for this stop I have three cards to share with you. They feature the two new Stephanie Fizer sets that will be available tonight. I can't say enough great things about these sets. They are so me! They are whimiscal, cute, and tons of fun to color. The first set of cards was made with the set called "Owl for All Seasons". It has the cutest trio of owls with tons of different images that coordinate with several seasons. I love them!! Since Valentine's Day is around the corner I decided to go with that theme. All images were colored in with Copics and patterned paper for these are Basic Grey Urban Prairie and DCWV. The last card was made with the set "Good Knight". I especially love this set since it gears to both girls and boys. Since I have a son who loves dragons and knights I decided to go with the boy theme. I made the dragon sparkle with Shimmerz Blingz in Wintergreen. The patterned paper is from SEI "Oasis" collection. I made this card for my little prince :) So now that I'm done it's Cammie's turn to enable you some more. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us :)
Happy Blog Hopping!!

Zva Creative

So, I was recently approach via email by the creator of Zva Creative. If you aren't familiar with Zva products you must check them out. They have a whole line of rhinestones, flowers, crystals, brads, and foam dots! Not only are they super high quality but they are also very reasonably priced. So, when I got the email from Carolyn I said yes! I am so excited about joining her team because I love her products and her future vision. Plus you can NEVER have to many rhinestones and crystals..hehehe So to celebrate the new DT spot I decided to share a cute Valentine's Day mailbox project. I stockpiled tons of these Target dollar spot mailboxes last year so I was eager to take them out again. I covered the mailbox with patterned paper from Taylored Expressions new Key Ingredients. I love it!! Then I went to town with all the bling. All the rhinestones, flowers, and brads are from Zva Creative. I love how they carry tons of wording already to go for your projects and cards. I used the "Sweet" and "Valentine" words to create this mailbox. The flowers are heavy silk in various colors. I also add cystal chains along the mailbox border in the color Rose and added some more crystal variety on the flagpole. The crystal butterfly, lady bug, and dragonfly shapes are the new CHA 2009 winter release. Aren't they adorable? Anywho, that is all for today but if you have some time check out all the fun products Zva Creative has available. And if you're going to CHA this month make sure to check out their booth :)

But, before you go I wanted to enable you even more *grin*. I made a card with the Year of Sweets 1 along with this week's Taylored Expressions Cupcake challenge. Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 2!

Happy New Years everyone!! So, what better way to start the new year than with a super sweet card and project. Today is Day 2 of the SASI sneak peeks. I am so excited about today's project!! I love this SASI Valentine's Day set that will be available at Taylored Expressions on Jan. 2. It's too SWEET!! I love each image. So, to showcase the set I decided to make some little heart cookie containers. They were super easy to make and I really love how they turned out. I even have a tutorial.
So here goes...
You will need the heart nestabilities for this tutorial but you can use any other heart punch as long as you tweak the measurements. First, punch out two red (card stock found in the new Key Ingredients) nesties hearts. I used the third smallest. Once you have the two hearts take a piece of vellum and cut at 8.75 x 1.65 inches. Now use your Scor-Pal to score the piece of vellum at 1.25 inches. Then, using your scissors cut small slits all the way to the end. This will allow you to bend the vellum around the heart. Now, using some adhesive (I used Tombow Metal) to go around the bottom of the heart. When you get to the end pinch the vellum to create the point. Do the same when you get to the top of the heart by adhering both ends together with glue. Once you've done that, add the second heart to the bottom to cover the vellum edge. After that, take your red gingham ribbon which is also from the Key Ingredients and add some Taylored Expression sticky tape on one side. Then, adhere to the bottom of the heart to create a clean and polished look. Lastly, add some crimped paper and a cookie inside. Tie everything together with some clear plastic bags and ribbon. The tag was also created with the new SASI "Love is Sweet" set. The floral eyelet is from Zva Creative. To complete the gift set I added a equally sweet card using the new set and key ingredients. I ADORE this paper!! Everything was colored in with Copics and Taylored Expression glitter was added on the hearts and cuppie tops. Well, that's all I have for today but tomorrow brings another fun sneak peek. Have a great day!
