Cake Time!

Hi All! Sorry I've been MIA. I know I tend to do that very often but you know how being a mother and wife goes. hahaha So, Josh started school today and I am so sad that he is growing up so fast. He was so excited about going to big boy school. We met his teacher and classmates and loved them. I know he is going to have such a great time at school. Anywho, I also have a card to share today. It's a TCP card of course! You know I can't get enough of The Cat's Pajamas. This card features the adorable little bunny set called Forget About the Cake. I adore this little guy. I colored him in with copics and added some TCP german glitter to the cake frosting. The patterned paper used is from DCWV. I sorta went out of my comfort zone with these bold colors but I like how it turned out. I also used the new TCP button and flower CutUps along with some TCP felt. Well, that's all for me today but I promise to come back soon with more stamping fun!

TCP Tuesday and a Sale!

It's time for another fun filled TCP Tuesday! There is a lot going on this Tuesday over at TCP. The Cat's Pajamas is having a sale and a Cat Call. Yup...you heard that right a sale and a fun opportunity to win some stamps. The sale will be from August 3-8! The deets for the Cat Call can be found HERE! What a great way to show off your favorite TCP creations while also having a chance to win free stamps! Remember the deadline to link your blog post to Alma's blog is August 24th! I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. So, back to the challenge. This week's hostess with the mostess is Amy. Her supply challenge is to use the new TCP CutUps! How fun is that?! If you have already gotten your order of CutUps you already know how amazing they are. If you haven't taken the plunge yet this is the time! You can get them on sale too! I promise you will be hooked! I used the new set featuring the adorable penguins called Ship Happens. I colored it in with Copics, paper pieced the tea cup, and used prisma colors to highlight the edges. I used both TCP Flower and Button CutUps for my card. They were both made with TCP Mellow Yellow and Seeing Red felt collections. I finished up the flower with a cute rhinestone. I also tried to age the card but distressing the edges. I like how it turned out. Well, that's all I have for today but I have more stamping to share. Make sure to check out the rest of the Cat Packs blogs for more TCP Tuesday eye candy!
