Blog Candy Time!!!

I think an Inkastamp blog candy giveaway is well overdo!! This is my first one but certainly not my last. I think its a small way to thank all my loyal and new blog readers for taking the time to check out my site. I am so honored to get all those sweet comments from such wonderful people. I also wanted to point out that thanks to EVERYONE I am on the Stamping Top 50!! You have no idea how excited I was *Smile* Knowing that people enjoy my work is what motivates me to keep stamping. Since Valentine's is coming for this giveaway all you have to do is leave a comment telling me your favorite romantic movie or book. I am a total sucker for those types of flicks. The drawing for the winner will be picked tomorrow at 6:00pm and announced there after. Good luck

The Notebook - the movie and the book! I saw the Notebook here at home after it was on video and loved it...it inspired me to read it and many of Nicholas Sparks other novels too. They are all wonderful!

Congrats on being a top 50!

Congrats on Top 50 - that's very cool! I love checking in and seeing your work!

My favorite romantic movie is A Room with a View -- Italian landscape and Julian Sands (back in the day)-- you can't beat that!

My old favs are Pride and Prejudice (w/Colin Firth), Strictly Ballroom, Sabrina (w/Audrey Hepburn)... But I will pretty much watch any foreign movie or cheesy romantic comedy.

I adore the movie "Same Time, Same Place, Next Year" with Alan Alda. Love your blog! You are so talented.

One of my favorite romantic movies is the 1994 rendition of a Love Affair with Warren Beatty and Annette Bening. Another is the remake of Sabrina with Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond. Both are remakes of movies from the 1950's.

Congratulations on being a top 50. I love your blog and think you are a very talented stamper.

One that I watched time and again as a teenager was "A Room With a View"...sigh! I really wanted to live my life in the Victorian/Edwardian period when there was just so much drama and romance. (Of course, then I got my history degree and realized that little in the movies is how it seems!)

(Another Helena Bonham Carter movie I always loved was Lady Jane...)

I am not much for romantic movies-hubby falls asleep and snores loud enough to either be asked to leave the theatre or for me to smack him. But there is one little charming movie called Crossing Delancy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094921/) with Amy Irving and Peter Reigert that I really love. I watched it last week by myself when I am stuck home without a car (I totaled it) and it stilll makes me smile and cry at the same time. It's about finding love in the least expected person-with a little help from your grandma.

I have watched Pretty Woman more times than I can count, but right up there is the American President (Annette Bening and Michael Douglas)and Up Close and Personal (Michelle Peiffer and Robert Redford). When she says she wants to marry him so he "legally has to be there in there in the morning" you just melt. Enjoy your work each day, Congrats on 50! Nancy (NMartin)

I recently discovered your blog ( a month or so ago) and already it is a favorite of mine! So much so that I listed you among my fav bloggers in a post I did last night.
I have many favorite movies (books - too many to mention), but I love Steel Magnolias, Mr. Holland's Opus, and Remember the Titans - not necessarily romantic movies, but the storylines are fabulous!
Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with us!

My favorite is "Notting Hill." It was what my husband (boyfriend at the time) said was his favorite movie, so it's been *our thing* since. He's a Brit & I'm American, so that's kinda cool too.

I have a hard time picking faves! Hehehe. I do love Anne of Green Gables - both the book and the (CBC) movie and she's quite the romantic! And I also *loooove* the BBC's Pride & Prejudice.

I cried almost the whole way through the movie The Notebook. We had just placed my father in an intermediate care facility. Each time I would go to visit he would sob and ask my help to kill him. Because of his medications he would hallucinate into his younger years. He was terrified of bath night. They have a huge "chair" which lifts the patient into the water. He would obsess as to whether it was Sunday yet. He is gone now but when I watched the movie he constantly came to mind as his periods of lucidity were few and far between. Sorry this is not more upbeat. Diana
