Tuesday Lovin'

Last night I tried to watercolor some more. I had some trouble because some of the colors didn't blend very well. I think I might have used to much water *oops*. I need to keep practicing because I really enjoy it. I think I just need to get some watercolor crayons from Stampin Up instead of using the ink pads. Does anyone have the crayons? Please let me know if its easier to use and if they are worth buying. For this card I used Stampin' Up Real Rust, Certain Celery, Choc Chip, and Whisper White. The adorable stamp image is from Inky Antics and the sentiment is last years Stampin' Ups hostess set. I also used some stickles *smile* I think its my favorite embellishment right now. Finished it off with some ribbon and hardware.

You are already well on your way to great watercoloring. Love your cards. I think the crayons are great, but I think the best option for SU watercoloring is to use SU's reinkers -- you'll get a more intense color. The crayons, however, are easy -- no mess no fuss!

Absolutely darling, love the stamp and your coloring. I love my crayons, you can blend them with a versamarker and apply clear embossing and it looks like a sticker.

Oh yes! I LOVE watercolor crayons! I'm not much of a "color it in" person, but the crayons make is SO easy! They blend well and make you look like a professional!
