Hello everyone! Today I have a card featuring the My Favorite Things "Home for the Holidays" stamp set. I tried to create a cozy and warm Christmas scene. When I stamped the tree I did some masking so that the fireplace would appear to be slightly behind the tree. I tried to create depth that way. I colored in my images with my favorite prisma colors and gamsol. (BTW I just purchased Copics for Christmas and I can't wait to get my hands on them!!) Once I finished coloring the scene I added some stickles to the fireplace and Christmas tree lights. I then matted it with SU Chocolate Chip card stock. Other paper used is SU Old Olive, River Rock, and Basic Grey "Figgy Pudding" PP. After I adhered the papers to the card base I took my main image and added some hardware tags on each side. I ran some twill ribbon through them and tied bows on each end. I really like how it brought everything together. Well that is it for my cozy Christmas scene. I call this one Roasted Chestnuts. Stay tuned for some more Christmas cards tomorrow!
Hugs,
Ana
