Today I have another Christmas card to share with you. This one is very special because it represents a new company in which I am the new design team member for!! Mary Ann for Stamp La Jolla contacted me earlier this month with an amazing opportunity to join her design team. I fell in love with her stamps so I had to accept. This is one of her many Christmas images. This adorable little snowman was colored in with prisma colors and gamsol. He is stamped on Kraft card stock since I wanted to accent the white snow. The sentiment is also from SLJ and was stamped with Chocolate Chip ink. I matted him on some SU Sky Blue and Blue Bayou card stock. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey "Figgy Pudding". Other card stock used is SU Old Olive and Real Red. To complete the card I used my SU slit punch and used it on the side of the main image. I tied some yummy SU wide grosgrain ribbon and called it a day.
Stay tuned for some more Christmas cards tomorrow.
Hugs and Have a great weekend!

Just as promised here is another Christmas card to share with you. This one is one of my favorites because of the whimsical vintage feel. I love this paper from Basic Grey "Figgy Pudding" because it really adds the WOW factor to your Christmas cards. The stamp set from Basic Grey called "Santa Baby" is also a MUST have because it really is so beautiful. The Santa Claus is stamped on Kraft card stock and colored in with my prisma colors. I matted it on Real Red SU paper and added matching brads to the four corners. I also stamped the number "25" on the bottom which is also included in the set. I love that subtle little detail the stamp offers. To complete the card I added some of my FAVORITE SU wide Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon. I can't seem to make a card without that ribbon!! I am running low so off I go to order some more. *smile* Stay tuned for some more cards tomorrow. Hugs, Ana

Wow...what a week!! I want to start off by saying that I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. Mine was awesome beginning with all the wonderful blessings that I am so fortunate to have. Aside from T-Day I also had another family dinner on Friday and a birthday party on Saturday. So that only left me with Sunday to get some stamping done. I did manage to come up with a few cards and projects to share with you this week. But before I continue I want to share some exciting news. I am the proud new Design Team member of Embellish It Scrapbooking. EIS is an awesome online store that carries ALL the products you need to make scrapbooking and card projects. I am so excited to be part of this amazing DT. Also if you didn't know they have an AMAZING forum/chat room. You should join us sometime and upload some cards and chat it up. Its loads of fun. So today I have a card to share with you that features some of the supplies found in EIS. The stamp set used is from Basic Grey and is called "Santa Baby" and so is the patterned paper from the "Figgy Pudding" collection. For the main image I stamped the scrolls with Chocolate Chip ink to resemble ornament strings. The snowflakes are stamped on WW cut out and sprinkled with DD glitter. I adhered them with SU brads at the bottom of the scrolls to look like they are hung ornaments. The sentiment is also from the stamp set. Other card stock used is SU Sky Blue, Pomegranate, Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Bayou Blue, and Whisper White. Accessories are SU ribbon and silver cord.
Stay tuned for some more Figgy Pudding Christmas cards tomorrow.

Today is Wednesday and you know what that means....a sketch challenge over at SCS. Sketch challenges are my favorite because they do all the hard work for you. *smile* This week's sketch is awesome. I love the tons of possibilities it offers. For this example I used the ADORABLE little penguin from The Cat's Pajamas "Polar Holiday". I just love these clear stamps from TCP. They are so cute and festive. Not to mention affordable! You must check them out. So for this card I colored in the penguin with my prisma colors and added some stickles to resemble ice. Card stock used is SU Sky Blue, Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, and Basic Grey Blitzen PP. Accessories are SU ribbon, silver cord, and red brads. I enjoyed this sketch so much I might try to squeeze another later on today. Hugs, Ana

I recently discovered Hambo stamps and I can say that I am totally hooked. I love their cute little stamps and their hilarious sayings. So today I wanted to share this card I made featuring their tank image and sentiment. I colored in the tank with my prisma colors and gamsol. I matted the main image with a scalloped rectangular punch. Card stock used is SU Going Grey, Sky Blue, Pomegranate, Whisper White, and Basic Grey "Recess" PP. Accessories are SU twill, stitched ribbon, and brads. I also hung a bolt from the ribbon for an added embellishment. The sentiment is stamped on a transparency with Stazon black ink. I can't wait to place my next order.
Stay tuned for some more cards tomorrow!
PS. I have also started an Etsy online store where I am selling a few of my cards. You can find the link to the site on the right hand side of the blog. Feel free to take a look and email if you have any questions or special requests.

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Mine was crazy busy. Saturday was Josh's 3rd birthday party at a farm outside the city. (Here is a link if you want to check it out) It was so much fun they had all kinds of fun activities for the kids to do. Josh had a blast with all his little friends and although I had to chase after him the whole time his party was a success. Since all the chaos of that event plus being sick I really didn't have much time to stamp. But I do have a card I made earlier this month for Starving Artistamps. This card features the new milestone silhouettes from Artfully Inkables. The sentiment is also from the new line. The baby carriage is stamped with a Versa Magic agua pad and outlined with an SU black marker. I added a bow, baby pin, and rhinestones to embellish the carriage. Card stock used is SU Certain Celery, Basic Black, Whisper White, So Saffron, and Crate Paper. Other accessories used are SU brads and 3d glue dots. Stay tuned for some more cards tomorrow!!

Sorry for the late post but boy am I sick! I have a terrible cold...eeeekkk and I still have to plan Josh's birthday on Saturday. Luckly my mom is really helping me out. So tonight I have a quick post to share. I made this card for this week's awesome SCS sketch challenge. I used the My Favorite Things "Winter Blast" stamp set. I love these little guys and if you don't already know I have a "thing" for penguins. They are so cute. Card stock used is SU Sky Blue, Bayou Blue, Kraft, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Basic Black and Basic Grey Blitzen PP. The penguins are colored in with my prisma colors and the sentiment is stamped on a transparency. I then attached it with some SU baby blue brads. The snowflake tag is also an image from this set. I used my SU circle punches and a silver brad to hang it from some orange May Arts ribbon. Stay tuned for some more cards tomorrow. Its nightie-night for me!! Hugs Ana

Today I have another card featuring the new release stamp sets from Starving Artistamps. It's called "Tooled Leather Roses" and it has to be one of my favorites. I love the western feel of the flowers and they are so much fun to layer. They really make a bold statement. I stamped mine on whisper white card stock and colored them in with prisma colors. The background is another stamp from SA called Western Flourish. To add to the rustic feel I distressed some of the edges. Card stock used is Kraft, Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip, and Sky Blue. So today I have a Starving Artistamps card to share with you. It features one of MANY new release sets that are now available. They are super adorable and so fun to color. Plus their red rubber material is of the highest quality. For this card I colored in the horse with my prisma colors and gamsol. I matted the image on SU Real Rust and distressed the edges. The background stamp on the Sky Blue card stock is also SA. Its a Western flourish set that is to die for. Other card stock used is SU WW and Chocolate Chip. Accessories are SU eyelets and wide chocolate grosgrain ribbon. To finish the card I sprayed the whole card with Bronze Glimmer Mist. It sparkles a lot more in real life. Stay tuned for some more cards tomorrow.
PS. Its so nice to be back to my stamps and my blogging friends. I missed you guys!! Hugs Ana
Hi All!! I am BACK...and I couldn't be happier. Disney was amazing but also exhausting. Everything went so smoothly and I figured that this is the best time to go to Disney because the longest line we had to wait to get on a ride was 5 minutes!!! We actually got to ride almost all the rides on all the parks. Plus the weather was FANTASTIC. It was sunny but breezy. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I also had a chance to met Kim and her hubby from My Favorite Things and let me tell you she is just as sweet in person!! She invited my hubby and I to eat lunch at the super delicious House of Blue's. We chatted and had the most fantastic time. THANK YOU KIM!!!
So now for the winner of the blog candy giveaway...drum roll please!!
Shannon Erksine was picked randomly by an online generator. Shannon please send me your snail mail so I can get you goodies to you.

So that means that I won't have access to the internet until I come back on Saturday. *Bummer* But rest assure that I will be back next week with tons of pictures and new cards to share. Which also reminds me that I am also going to meet Kim, the owner of My Favorite Things. I can't wait. Today is the day....to get you hot little hands on all the new My Favorite Things sets. I know you have been enjoying all the sneak peaks from half of the Design Team this week but now its our turn!! Yippee... I couldn't wait to show you this card I made earlier this week. Its from the new "Build A Bouquet" set. Again their are TONS of possibilities with all the designs and when I saw this set I thought of a topiary. I used the flowers in ascending order and added bows in the middle branches. I also adorned the centers with brads. To finish the topiary I sprayed it with glimmer mist. It sparkles way more IRL. The sentiment is also part of a new MFT release called "Essential Sentiments" and ladies it really is. I think it's going to be hard not to use it on every one of my cards since the sayings are awesome!! The card stock used is SU Guava, Chocolate Chip, Certain Celery, WW, and Basic Grey PP. The ribbon is May Arts. Other accessories are SU slit and photo corner punches.
Stay tuned for another MFT card tomorrow.
