Awww..the weekend is here!! This week has been crazy and I am so looking forward to relaxing these next couple of days. Monday is my birthday *smile* so I think me and the DH are going to have a date on Saturday *blush* But before the weekend I had to make this final Whipper Snapper card for you guys to enjoy. I love the classic wooden rocking horse stamp for a baby card. Its image is timeless and works for both girls and boys. For this card I made it a boy theme and colored it in with my Prisma colors. I also used Paper Salon and Green Grass stamps. The card stock is SU Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Barely Banana, and Very Vanilla. The DP is Basic Grey's LilyKate collection. The ribbon is May Arts and the baby pin is from Paper Studio. I finished the card by sponging and doing some paper piercing.
Have a great weekend!! Hugs Ana

What A Suprise Wednesday
Are you tired of Whipper Snapper yet?? NEVER, right!! This is also an adorable birthday stamp. I love the whimsical and adorable "No Peeking" mouse. It was so much fun to color. I used my Prisma colors again and SU markers for highlighting. I added some bling with crystal effects and Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the balloon and the birthday hat. The sketch is from last weeks SCS challenge. I love it because you can use scraps of DP. This paper is from SEI's Lollipop Shop collection. I inked the edges with Elegant Eggplant ink. Other card stock used is SU Certain Celery, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Blush Blossom, and Very Vanilla. The button chipboard is from Cosmo Cricket and is also inked with Elegant Eggplant ink. The striped ribbon is from May Arts and the other is from SU. I hung the sentiment from a tag and attached it with hemp cord. The window punch was also used to make tabs that were embellished with Paper Studio brads. The final detail is the paper piercing. Wow I am having so much fun with this Whipper Snapper week. Can't wait to ink up another tonight.

And since then my collection has grown *smile* but this still is my favorite. In this card I colored the mouse and cupcake in with my Prisma colors and highlighted with SU markers. I used some stickles to add some detail to the sprinkles on the frosting. I also used my new Paper Salon "Doodles & Oodles" set on the rest of the card. The card stock is SU Regal Rose, Barely Banana, Chocolate Chip, Certain Celery, and Very Vanilla. The ribbon is from May Arts and the sentiment is from Green Grass stamps.
I also wanted to thank everyone who left a comment on my blog candy. I enjoyed reading ALL the responses and wonderful getaway locations. Hopefully one day we will all get our wishes.

Mail Out Monday
Hello everyone!! I hope your weekend was fun. Mine was so crazy we had a baby shower one day and a birthday party the next. Let's just say that my poor little baby is pooped from all the fun and excitement. For the birthday party card I decided I wanted to use my Whipper Snapper stamps which I have been neglecting *frown* lately and after seeing Kirsten designing with hers I thought I am going to make this a Whipper Snapper week. (Thanks Kirsten your amazing cards are beautiful and so inspire me.) I just love their ADORABLE images that allow tons of coloring space. For this card I used the adorable Dinosaur birthday balloon stamp. I colored him in with Prismacolors and highlighted with SU markers and stickles for details. The card stock is SU Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Apricot Appeal, and Whisper White. The sentiment and photo corners are from Green Grass stamps and the birthday wishes is stamped on an oval Lil' Davis chipboard which I inked with Pumpkin Pie ink. I pierced a hole and tied some ribbon around it. The purple gingham ribbon is May Arts and is from Judy's ribbon share. The old olive panel is stamped with the SU dots wheel and the postal decorative scissors were used around the edges. To finish it off I did some paper piercing and sponging.....

Whatever Goes Wednesday
I just can't resist inking up the Green Thumb stamp set!! HELP... I need someone to stop the madness..*smile* I must say this card makes me hungry. I just LOVE strawberries and its that time of the year when we take the family to the Strawberry patch to pick fresh plump berries. That was my motivation behind this card. I used the pot as a bucket and the strawberries are suppose to be spilling out. The card stock is SU Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Old Olive, and Whisper White. I added some May Arts red striped ribbon, hemp cord, and a green brad along with a pewter tab. I did some faux stitching with my white gel pen and added some DP from Hobby Lobby. I also used my oval punch to make the tag edge. When we go to the patch I will post some pictures. BTW if anyone has a yummy strawberry recipe that they are willing to share I would so love it if you could email it to me.

Retro Fun
I am really on a roll and loving every inked second *smile* with my Green Thumb set. I really think the colors Old Olive, Real Rust, and Chocolate chip give a retro feel so I went with that theme. The flowers are also inked with rust and olive ink. I added some May Arts ribbon and copper brads. The flower chipboard is from Lil Davis designs and was inked with a sponge in Old Olive. I did some paper piercing and rounded the edges. I really like how the upside down flower is framed with the chipboard. This was a fun and quick card.

Mail Out Monday
Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you guys had a great weekend. I got a lot of stamping done since my mom kept Josh on Sunday. Yippee!! Although I was missing him a few hours later..hehehe He is a real toot. Anyways I decided I wanted to play with my new Papertrey Ink Green Thumb set. I found the flower image to look a lot like grapes. This is what I came up with. I think I captured the grape vineyard look. I used Lily Kate DP and Paper Salon scrolls on the corners. The cardstock is Chocolate Chip, Elegant Eggplant, True Thyme, and Whisper White. I added some twill and May Arts ribbon along with a Lil Davis ribbon slider. The sentiment is from SU Carte Postale. To add to the vintage look I aged by sponging and distressed the edges.

Fun Friday
Here is another inspirational card. I think I am beginning to get addicted to using magazine ads as motivation. They really give you new fresh ideas on colors, layouts, and elements. For this card I used the SU Mixed Bouquet and Paper Salon. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Green Thumb. The ribbon is May Arts and SU Chocolate Chip. Cardstock is SU So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Bravo Burgundy, and True Thyme. The decorative brads are from Paper Studio. Aside from sharing this quick card I also wanted to wish everyone a great weekend!!

Inspirational Thursday
Sorry for the not posting to much this week I have just not been feeling 100% better :( I did however get the idea to look through magazines and look for inspiration in fabrics, objects, or anything to make a card from the forum on the Paper Crafts blog and from Nicole who found her inspiration from a Martha Stewarts magazine ad. For this card I used a page from the magazine Domino's and the picture is a French Country home decor ad. I loved the rustic colors combined with flowers, swirls and beautiful landscapes. The stamps used are SU's Carte Postale and Paper Salon. The cardstock is SU Real Rust, True Thyme, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla. Accessories used are my SU markers, brads, dimensions and paper piercing. For the aged look I sponged the edges. The ribbon is May Arts and the sentiment is punched out with the SU word window. You guys should really try this technique because it gives you a fresh look on creating unique cards. If you do one please leave a comment with a link so I can see it too!! Happy Stamping.

Mail Out Monday
I hope everyone had a great weekend and an even better Easter holiday. Unfortunately mine was not great I got hit hard with food poisoning so I spent much of mine in the bathroom..yuuucky!! I am starting to feel better but I still feel a bit queasy. I did not have much desire to stamp until today. I got the inspiration from Jen del Muro's challenge on her blog. Its requires you to make a card with ONLY PapertreyInk stamps. I found it really easy since I love their stamps and they are all amazing!! I used the Butterfly Kisses along with SU cardstock in Barely Banana, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, and Ruby Red. The layout is from last weeks Bachelor Rose card. I am really into the rolled up edge look *smile* The butterflies are stamped with VersaMark and then colored in with chalk and dabbers. I then cut them out and popped them out. The final touch is some yummy May Arts ribbon and stickles on the butterflies.

Too Cute Thursday
With Easter just around the corner I decided that I would make a little Easter basket for my friends daughter. I combined both of the SU Easter sets "Bunny Hugs" and "Faith & Hope". One is from this years mini catalog and the other is from last year's Spring mini. I believe that one is no longer in print. I watercolored and added stickles. The border is cut with my decorative scissors *I can't seem to put them down*. Cardstock is SU Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, and Very Vanilla. The DP is Basic Grey LilyKate. The ribbon is May Arts which I bought from Jody's ribbon share. Its so yummy!! I used my slit window punch to display the sentiment and added brads to the sides. I did some sponging to for detail and added dimensions to make it pop.

I got them last week and they are SO CUTE!! I settled on the adorable puppy and watercolored him in. I added stickles on his nose and used my decorative scissors around the edges. Other stamps used are SU Canvas background and the sentiment is Green Grass stamps. The cardstock is SU Real Red, Close to Cocoa, So Saffron, and Very Vanilla. I added some brads and a prima flower for added details. The ribbon is from the ribbon share Jody hosted. She has some awesome ribbon shares and right now she is hosting a prima share!! I think I might just have to get my hands on some. *smile*

Bachelor Monday
Hi everyone! Hope you guys had a great weekend. Mine was a blast. I got to stamp with my cousins and then I went to see Blades of Glory. It was HILARIOUS!! One of the funniest movies ever. So if anyone is a fan of The Bachelor on ABC then you know that tomorrow is the Season Premiere. Well one of my friends from High School is a contestant/bachelorette!!! I am so happy for her and although I don't know the details I am sure she went far since she is a great girl. Her name is Amber and her profile is here. Since I am so excited I decided to make a card for her...hence the red rose. I used the SU "Mixed Bouquet" and Michael's dollar stamp sentiment. The cardstock is SU Old Olive, Real Red, and Very Vanilla. I added some ribbon and hardware for details. I also used some decorative scissors and did some paper piercing. Don't forget to tune in tonight.
