QKD Wednesday & Blog Candy

I am extending the blog candy entry time until Friday @ noon. Good luck :)

So, I finally get to share some fun news I have been keeping from you. A few weeks ago I got an email from Vicki, owner and designer of Queen Kat Designs. She asked me if I would like to be one of her Guest designers for this month. Of course I said YES...because her designs are so fun and chic. So she sent me one of her March card kits to work with and these are the samples I came up with. I love how easy and quick it was to make these six cards because all the effort was already made for me. The kit includes stamps, paper, ribbon, and all embellishments. All I had to do is color in my stamped images and put everything together. QKD even has their own gallery where you can upload all your creations. So not only did she include a kit for me to work with she also was sweet enough to send a gift to give away to you. Yup, that means today is also a blog candy giveaway. All you have to do is let me know if you like the idea of card kits. I will draw a winner on Thursday morning @9am and announce it later on that afternoon.
Hugs,
Ana

P.S. There are still some March kits available so make sure to grab them before they are all gone :)

I think card kits are a great idea. A lot of my customers think they have no creativity, but they love making the cards I design.

I've never tried a card kit - I've purchased some of the cheapy Walmart ones figuring I would disect them and use the assorted embellies on other things but we all know what happens when the goods come home - in the cabinet, never to see light again!!!! But a stamping card kit would be COOL! Congrats on being Guest Designer - what a cool honor!!

I think card kits are a great idea for newer stampers who don't have a lot of supplies or experience grouping them together, or for those who don't have much time for stamping and just want to sit down and get it done. Personally, I like the feeling of accomplishment of "doing it all myself", silly as that may be.

Your cards are awesome Ana!! Looks like a lot of great stuff and cute cute images! :)

I haven't really ever tried card kits so I am not sure - but I would like to give it a try

These cards are great, like all your cards!!

I think card kits are a great idea especially if you are pressed for time. Just grab a kit, throw it together and your done. Its a homemade card and no one has to know you threw it together in a matter of seconds. And they are totally cute!!

Oh and congratulations on being a guest designer!!

Wow what beautiful cards. I love the idea of card kits, I did take many monthly scrapbooking kits, then found cards and let go of the kits. I am thinking I should look into some card kits.... Off to take a look!

A card kit sounds like a great idea to me. I like that it might even stretch you, if it includes elements that you might not have been immediately drawn to, yourself.

Congrats on being a guest designer and thanks for sharing!

I think card kits are a great idea if you are short on stamping time! To only have to do the fun part of coloring and assembling would be great on those days of no time :) Thanks for sharing

Absolutely!!! I always have a hard time matching paper and embellishments and stamps. A card kit would make it so much easier for me! Love the idea!

I love the idea of card kits. Sometimes it would be great to have all the items already thought out for you and all you need to do is assemble them when you need them. These are really cute! Thanks for sharing and congrats on the news!

I think card kits are a cool idea. Being a cardmaker I can see the potential of having what you need all in one convenient bundle.

Absolutely ! Love the idea of card kits..."almost" takes the thinking out of it :) Sometimes I have a hard time picking out colors/coordinates, so prepicked is good!

thanks for the chance!

I think card kits are very helpful to new paper crafters, people who like to take the guess work out of coordinating color, or busy people that want to save time picking out supplies. They are so fast and easy:)

I would love the idea of card kits if choosing all the elements and coordinating them weren't one of my favorite parts about making cards! Maybe if I was pressed for time and needed to make several similar cards, I would purchase a kit.

I love the idea of card kits......great for when you don't have a lot of time to make cards, like me!! I would definitely purchase a card kit! Thanks for the chance! :o)

I love the idea of card kits. Of course, I can never justify purchasing any because of all the supplies I currently have. However, for a new stamper, I think it would be very beneficial to them.

These card kits are great! I have always steered clear as sometimes the cost of the kit seems a bit on the high side. These are wonderful cards though. I love the colors! Sometimes it is just getting started that is half the battle. Thanks for sharing!

Great idea! I know how hard it is to "get started". I remember I ordered all this "stuff" and it just sat there for a really long time because I felt overwhelmed when I looked at it. Just try and keep the kit priced reasonable to make it tempting! Thanks for the chance to win. Love your blog!
