Transformers Thursday

How many wives have been dragged this week to see the new Transformers movie with the DH? *raising my hand* I went yesterday to see it and let me tell you I was kicking and screaming the whole way there. But after the movie I had to do something I hate...tell the DH he was right. It was a great and fun movie. I really enjoyed myself. So ladies don't be scared when the DH says he wants to see Transformers. Its not that bad. So in light of the movie I decided to pay tribute to Optimus Prime and Bumblebee by making a robot card. The set used is SU Toy Box. I colored the image in with my prisma colors. Other stamps are Green Grass and Micheal's dollar acrylic stamps. The card stock is Basic Grey and SU Pumpkin, Bayou Blue, Sky Blue, Olive, and WW. Accessories are Cosmo Cricket chipboard and May Arts ribbon. The brads are SU. Techniques are paper piercing and cuttlebug embossing folders.

PS Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!

Hugs Ana

That is so funny! I STILL don't want to go see it. :)

GREAT card - love how all the different elements come together so smoothly.

Nope, hubby not interested and neither are the girls. It sure looks action packed though. Glad you liked it! This is such a cute card--I'm sure will be a HUGE hit with any boy, especially those who've seen this movie.

I thought this was a kids movie. My 8 yr old son has been bugging me to go. Is it OK for an 8 yr old to see?

I usually go to the movie my DH picks, but I did say no to this one (although it does peak my interest). I told him to go with the boys. OMG I love this card. Your signature colours are awesome. Love the CB background, the neat circle, etc., etc. Lovely job as usual, Ana.

How cute! My 4 year old would love that card. He is in love with robots. I don't even know the last time I was out to the movies, but I do hate admitting when DH was right in his movie selection.

You've been tagged!

I was spared! DH went by himself and then came home and took DD to see Ratatoulle!

"after the movie I had to do something I hate..." Too funny! My DD's husband has persuaded her to go to the movie tonight. Last night was movie night for the girls to see Ratatouille -- me, 3 DDs and grandaughter, and I told her your story. When I got to the quote above, she guessed the rest! Maybe knowing in advance will save her from the same fate as yours. TFS!

Ana,

I did the same thing. I didn't want to go see it, either. But, I went and loved it. Truly wasn't a children's movie, though. My teenage son and daughter loved it.

I'm so glad I got a cuttlebug for my bday. I can't wait to start using it! What are your must-have dies/folders?
