Altered Goodies

I recently went to Target and stocked up on some of the dollar mailboxes. Unfortunately, I have only made one since then. So last night as I looked at the stack of them collecting dust I decided to make another featuring the super adorable The Cat's Pajamas Valentine's Day stamps. The mailbox is covered in "Hey, Sugar" Crate patterned paper. The cupid kitty is stamped with VersaFine Onyx black on Papertrey Ink stampers select. The circles are nestabilities die-cuts as well as the scalloped circle. I also highlighted and colored in the kitty and her details with my Copic markers. Accessories are SU red wide grosgrain ribbon and May Arts ribbon. Other card stock is SU Mustard, Pomegranate, and Kraft. The second project is one of those nugget tins made famous by Nichole Heady. I also used The Cat's Pajamas V-Day images. They work perfectly with the nugget Avery labels. I made a paper slider to adorn the tin with some more of the Crate "Hey, Sugar". I also used my new heart nestabilites die cuts to create a tag to hang from some wide SU chocolate grosgrain ribbon. Release Day!

Today is the day!! My Favorite Things will be releasing three sets today at 10:30pm. We are also having another fun filled cocktail party over at the MFT SCS member forum from 9-11pm. Make sure to head over for some "serious" chatting. For my card today I am featuring the Eggstra-Special Easter set. I simply adore this little egg not just because its cute but because it's so much fun to color. I combined it with this weeks SCS sketch challenge. I used my Basic Grey "Two Scoops" patterned paper again. I am telling you I can't seem to put that 6x6 pad away. Its perfect for Easter, V-Day, baby cards, and more. The images were colored in with my Copics and the grass is made with some Christmas beads I bought at HL last year. The ribbon is SU and the other card stock is SU Pomegranate, Sky, Mustard, and PTI samplers select. Well that is all I have for you today on my blog but I do have a few more cards to share during the cocktail party. Hope to see you there!

Hoppy Easter

So today I have another card that features one of the new My Favorite Things sets called Eggstra Special Easter that will be released on Wednesday. Its a cute little bunny and chick set that I really enjoyed working with. The rabbit was colored in with my Copics along with the tulips. I love the bunnies big ears. It makes him look extra whimsical! Card stock used is SU Sky Blue, Regal Rose, Eggplant, More Mustard, and Papertrey stampers select. The patterned paper is from the new Basic Grey "Two Scoops" collection. The ribbon is SU certain celery and its attached to the large pewter SU eyelets.The little prima flowers are attached to a purple pastel scalloped binder clip from the Oriental Co. To complete the card I added some stickles on the bunny and flowers and did some faux stitching around the Regal Rose panel. Happy Monday Everyone! Hope you guys had a good one. We celebrated our 3rd annual Super Bowl Party. It was so nice to have all our family and friends together. But now that it is over I have tons to clean up..yuck! So before I head downstairs for some serious cleaning I wanted to post this card featuring the new My Favorite Things sets. The main image is a Yoga girl from the "Serenity Now" set and the sentiment is from the new "Twisted sentiment" line. I am so enjoying them both. The twisted sentiments are so much fun and I am so glad that Kim came up with this great idea. It's nice to have some adult clean humor sentiments. I know I have plenty of friends that would get a kick out of them. Actually I am sending this one out today. The layout is the new MFT sketch challenge created by Cindy. Oh Baby!

One of my good friends is about to have her baby. I am so excited for her and since all we have been talking about lately is baby I thought I would make a cute baby shower invitation/card. She already had her shower but I still wanted to pull out my MFT "Shower Time" and make one up. I also wanted an excuse to pull out my Basic Grey "Two Scoops" patterned paper. I thought the pastels would go perfectly with a baby theme. The main image is stamped with VersaFine ink and stamped on Papertrey Ink card stock select. I then colored it in with my Copics and added some dots on the umbrella with some liquid pearls. The ribbon is a wide tan grosgrain color and the baby pin is a light yellow from Paper Studio. Other card stock used is SU Barely Banana, Pumpkin Pie, and Bayou Blue. The card is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square. I also wanted to make the card non-gender specific so I went with both pink and blue. Well that is all I have for you today but tomorrow brings some more cards. Have a great weekend!

Birthday Surprise

Yesterday was my little sister's 21st birthday! We celebrated by having a nice dinner at mom's house. It was really nice to have everyone together. So since she turned the big 21 I knew I had to make her a special birthday card. I knew I wanted to use the My Favorite Things "Meet me at the Cafe" set since she LOVES Paris (and even visited a few years ago) and the two girls sipping wine fit the occasion perfectly. I colored them in with my Copics. I picked the colors for the image from the Basic Grey "Stella Ruby" patterned paper. The flower is cut out from a piece of patterned paper too. I added some jewels in the middle to give it some sparkle. Other card stock used is SU More Mustard, Pomegranate, Sky Blue, and Chocolate Chip. Accessories are SU brads, wide grosgrain ribbon, copper cord, and 3d glue dots. Stay tuned for some more cards tomorrow.

TCP Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope your weekend was fabulous. Mine was spent reading my new favorite novel called "Love in the Time of Cholera" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. He is a Colombian writer and winner of a Nobel prize for Literature amongst many other things. Being Colombian myself I always support all the talent and goodness Colombia brings since the news always does a "great job" of only portraying the negative. I love his books and this one has left me not wanting to put it down. I have a few pages left so once I finish I will be back with some more stamping. But for today I have a project I made earlier this weekend using my new The Cat's Pajamas Valentine's Day images. I altered one of those tea tins that were so popular during Christmas time. I took the same idea and did it as a Valentine's Day goodies tin. I altered it with some Crate Paper "Hey, Sugar" patterned paper. The stamped images are colored in with my Copics and stickles where added for a little bling. I also pulled out my scalloped scissors to adorn the trim. The heart tag is from the new nestabilities die cuts. The heart image was stamped with VersaMagic Plumeria chalk ink and popped on dimensional for a 3d effect. Well, that is all I have to share today but tomorrow brings some new cards. Make sure to stop on by.

Blast Heart Thursday

Hello All! I am back with some more The Cat's Pajamas today. Have you already ordered your sets? If so, and have a card to share, post a comment with a link so I can take a peek. I can't wait to see what you guys make with them. Any who today I have a card featuring the images. The rocket ship is one of my favorite images. It was tons of fun to color too! I used my Copics and added some stickles on the hearts. Card stock used is SU Sky Blue, Blush Blossom, Tempting Turquoise, Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, PTI, and Crate Paper "Hey, Sugar" collection. The ribbon is SU and in Pink and Sky Blue. The eyelets are also SU along with the silver cord. I have a few more TCP Valentine's Day cards to share with you tomorrow so make sure to stop by again.

Tuesday Round Up

Hi All! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. I got a few stuff stamped that I will show you later on in the week but for today I have a cute little Basic Grey Chipboard Album to share. This album was part of a Embellish-It scrapbooking DT assignment. I had a blast and finally got the chance to chronicle these pictures I took of DS last year at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. I also combined it with the supah cute MFT "Punny Farm" set. But if that wasn't enough I also used this album as my SCS DIVA challenge. I challenged scrappers to create layouts with large letter cut outs. Here is the link if you want to play along. The paper and cut outs used are from the Crate Paper "Gretel" collection. I never know how to use those large letters that come in the patterned paper packets so I thought, how cute would it be to highlight the animal sounds with them. I have a few more pictures to add and which I will post when I am done. But for now I am pretty happy with how it is turning out. Accessories used are SU twill, ribbon, eyelets, cord, and Copic Markers. Stay tuned for some more stamping tomorrow.

How cute is THIS set! I'm lucky that my DH loves to celebrate most any event with a nice dinner out (yeah...no cookin'), so most of our Valentine's Day are celebrated with a lovely dinner and the traditional exchange of cards. We don't really exchange gifts, but if we do, they are small and sentimental.

Indians Blog Candy Wednesday

Just as promised today I have another The Cat's Pajamas card to share along with a chance to win this adorable set that will be available January 19th. Yappy Love Tuesday

Today I have a cute little puppy named Yappy and his flying love letter. I stamped them with Stazon black ink and colored them in with my Copic markers. Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. First I want to thank everyone who left a comment and sent me such good wishes on being one of the January Verve Visual designers. You guys ROCK! So for today I have something really cute to share with you. Its one of the new The Cat's Pajamas clearly swanky Valentine's Day images. This one features a few of the stamps that will be available to buy on January 19th. The cute little bird and tree are separate images but I thought they would go perfectly together. I did some masking so the tree would appear behind the love birds. They are colored in with my Copic Markers and accented with some pink stickles. The card base is SU Groovy Guava and its stamped with a circular heart image that is also from the set along with the sentiment. The ink used for those are Versa Magic Plumeria and Persimmon. Other card stock used is SU Pomegranate, Mustard, WW, and Crate Paper "Hey Sugar" collection. Accessories are SU ribbon, cord, and Maya Road clear blooms. The center of the bloom is accented with SU circle punches and a mustard brad. Stay tuned for some more TCP tomorrow.

Some Exciting News!

Hi All! Today I can finally share some exciting news I have been keeping from you. Last month Julee, the amazingly talented stamp designer from Verve Visual, contacted me to be one of her Guest Designers. Well, you guys know that nobody could pass up that opportunity so I instantly said YES! Soon after I got this amazing new stars stamp set called "Seeing Stars" in the mail. I thought it was so cute I immediately starting stamping with it. I just love the clean and whimsical style these stamps add to your cards. The first card I made is called "Possibilities" and I used the stars to create a starry scene. I colored them in with my Copics and did a trail of swirls with my paper piercing tool. Card sock used is SU Pumpkin, Bayou Blue, Sky Blue, and Basic Grey "Recess" patterned paper. Accessories are SU brads, and SU ribbon. The second card is a monochromatic design in which I stamped a pattern of stars to create patterned paper. The sentiment is stamped on PTI white card stock and backed with a scalloped square nestabilites die. I used my crop-a-dile to punch to holes on both sides and the added silver eyelets. I then tied some May Arts ribbon and adhered it with 3d glue dots. Card stock used is SU Basic Black, Sahara Sand, and PTI white. The last card is a Patriotic take on the stars and stripes. I colored the stars with my Copics in red and blue. I layered them on top of each other to create a 3d look. Card stock used is SU Sahara Sand, WW, Black, Memory Box "Flirt" patterned paper, and some blue dotted vellum sheet. Accessories are SU eyelets, ribbon, tab punch, and paper piercing tool. So now that I have shared my exciting news I urge you to take a peak at all 7 of Verve Visual's new stamp set releases. They are all adorable and so reasonably priced. MFT Release Day!

Hi All! As you all know today is Wednesday and that means that all the new sets from My Favorite Things will be available tonight at 10:30pm. You are going to love them ALL! Today I have a quick post since my DS has an ear infection and is not feeling good. For these cards I used the MFT "Punny Farm" set along with some yummy Crate Paper "Gretel" collection patterned paper. The first card is colored in with my Copics and the "Herd" card with prisma colors. I do have some more projects featuring this stamp set to share but I still have some finishing touches left to do. I will try and finish them tonight if DS is feeling better. So make sure to check back. Also don't forget that MFT is hosting a cocktail party tonight in the SCS member forum from 9-11p.m where there will be games, prizes, and a chance to become the next Guest Designer. V-Day Sneaky Peeky Projects

Today is all about handmade projects and gift ideas. I don't know about you but sometimes I like to give "handmade" gifts instead of store bought ones. I especially love to do this on Valentine's Day because its an extra special way to tell someone you love them. So much of yourself goes into anything handmade that it makes it more meaningful. So for today's My Favorite Things sneak peak I am bringing you two V-day gift ideas featuring the new "Be Mine" mini that will be released on Wednesday. The first project is a paper cup I made from the new MFT Digital Paper pack available now. I made this template from a paper cup I had saved because I found it neat. I scored all the edges with my Scor-Pal and adhered everything together with some sticky tape. I colored in the hearts with my Copic markers and adhered them onto two circle die cuts made with my nestablities. The ribbons are a combination of SU and May Arts and the hanging heart clip is from Paper Studio. The heart chipboard sticking out of the cup is from Cosmo Crickets' Buck Naked Buttons & More collection. I added some DD glitter to make it sparkled and adhered it to a floral stick so that I could insert it into my cup. The inside is filled with Hershey Kisses. The second project is an altered Target dollar spot mailbox. I missed out on these last year so when I saw a bunch at my local T I had to stock up. This one is altered with some more of the yummy MFT Digital paper pack. I used my slit punch to create the scallops with Close to Cocoa card stock. I also doodled some dots with my white gel pen. The hearts are stamped with VersaMagic Jumbo Java and Petunia ink. I also added glitter to make them sparkle. The scalloped heart behind them is another nestabilites die cut. The are cut out in Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip. The ribbons are also a combo of SU and May Arts. The paper flower and brad is also from the Target dollar spot. The clear bloom is Maya Road. The inside of the mailbox contains a cute love poem which is also included in the MFT mini set. I stamped it on a white rectangular/scalloped nestabilites die cut. Ok, so back to today's card. This card was made using "Happy Occasion" which is one of the three new MFT stamp sets that will be released on January 10th. This set features images that will produce quick cards for all your special occasions. They cover all the important holidays with cute images. This card was made with the Father's day stamp. I stamped the ties with black Stazon and colored them in with my Copics. The layout is from Cindy's MFT sketch challenge. Card stock used is SU Olive, Going Grey, Chocolate Chip, PTI white, and Basic Grey "Infuse" patterned paper collection. The brad is from Imaginisce and the ribbon is from SU. Friday Sneaky Peeky

Happy Friday everyone! Are you guys ready for the weekend? I, for one, have tons to do. First thing on my list is to put up Christmas decorations....I am so not looking forward to that. I also have a few more deadlines to complete but that will be the fun part. But before I leave you for this weekend I have another The Cat's Pajamas project to share with you. Its a mini Petaloo scrapbook of my son's 3rd birthday party. It was a Cowboy theme and was located in a nearby farm so these stamps were the perfect touch to complete my book. I used tons of sentiments from the new line along with some adorable cowboy images too. All the stamps used are from the new TCP Cowboys & Indians line. The patterned paper is from the Crate Paper "Wanted" collection. I also used SU Mellow Moss, Kraft, Real Rust, Chocolate Chip, and PTI white card stock. This little guy is heading out to the trails in his wagon and with his rope. I colored him in with my new favorite tool "Copics"! I still have a lot of learning to do but I am enjoying the process. Happy New Year!!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a safe and festive New Year's celebration. We had a great time. We headed over to my mother's and watched my DH light fireworks and ate delicious food. Josh had a blast with the sparklers. I will have to share some pictures soon. So now to the card. Just as promised I have a sneak peak of the new The Cat's Pajamas Cowboys & Indians collection that will be released this month. Holiday Update & Blog Candy

Hi All!! Hope everyone is recovering from the Christmas holidays!! I, for one, am pooped. Sheesh, I love Christmas but not the stress and hustle it brings along. I have been busy working on some deadlines that are coming up this week so I don't have anything to show you just yet...but I will have some goodies on the 1st that you won't want to miss. I am having so much fun with some new stamps and I can't wait to share them with you. So for now I am going to signing off until next year. Lizze Anne Friday

So today I have another non-Christmas related card to share. I got this new Lizze Anne Designs stamp in the mail the last week and it has been sitting patiently on my work table. I have been dying to use it but with so many other "must-do's" I have had to wait until today. I decided it would go perfectly with this week's SCS Sketch challenge. I colored in the cute little wedding images with my trusty prisma colors. I added some stickles to the bubbly, flower centers, and bows. I also used some of my new super YUMMY Crate Paper "Hey Sugar". I love this so much I can't seem to put it down. But I can't show you what I've used it for just yet. (I know I'm bad) Other card stock used is SU Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Pomegranate, Creamy Caramel, Bravo Burgundy, and Whisper White. The ribbon is May Arts and the circle punches are from SU. The Cat's Pajamas Thursday

Hi All! Today I want to change things up a bit by sharing a baby card instead of another Christmas card. I made this one for a dear friend who is having a baby shower in a few weeks. She just found out it's a boy so I knew that I wanted to use this adorable little boy's overalls from The Cat's Pajamas. I tried to go with the monochromatic feel by using the same colors throughout the card. I colored in the overalls with my prisma colors and stamped the sentiment which is also from TCP on the top of the panel. I ran a line of dots by using my SU paper piecing template and mat (one of my favorite tools) along the top edge so that it meets up with the sentiment. For the base of the card I used SU Blue Bayou and then framed the Basic Grey "Lily Kate" patterned paper with SU Certain Celery. The overall panel is matted with Bayou and Banana. The smaller inner panel is Sky Blue and Blue Bayou again. The ribbon is SU and the baby pin is from Paper Studio. Well that's all for today but I do have another card to share with you tomorrow. Papertrey Ink Tuesday

Today I have another PTI "Believe" card to share. This one features the Christmas tree image. I stamped it on SU Whisper White card stock and colored it in with my trusty prisma colors. I then matted it onto SU Chocolate Chip and added some SU hardware ribbon sliders on each side. I ran some SU ribbon and tied some bows at the ends. The sentiment is stamped and then punched out with SU oval punches. Other card stock used is SU River Rock, Old Olive, Kraft, Cranberry Crisp, and Basic Grey "Figgy Pudding". Hi All! Today is a quick post featuring the Papertrey Ink Believe set. I've had this set for a while but this was the first time I inked it up. I know bad me, but I will certainly use it more often now. I colored in the Santa with my prisma colors and framed it with black card stock. The edges were made with decorative scissors. Other card stock used is SU Going Grey, River Rock, Old Olive, and Basic Grey "Figgy Pudding". The silver brad is from Making Memories. Stay tuned for some more cards tomorrow.

Fun Friday

Hi All! I can't believe its Friday already! This week flew by...eeekk I better get to shopping since I still haven't even begun to get Christmas gifts. I did however finish this order for my mother's co-worker. She wanted me to make her some photo Christmas cards. Isn't her son adorable! So for the card I decided to use My Favorite Things Digi Papers and the "Winter Blast" set. I went with this layout because it allowed me to stamp a small image and still have room to display the picture. I stamped the penguins onto the dotted blue paper and colored them in with prisma colors. I added some liquid pearls to the panel to resemble snow. I also added some glitter to add some sparkle. Then I matted that panel with SU Blue Bayou. The picture is matted with SU Chocolate Chip. Other card stock is SU Olive, Real Red, and Sky Blue. Accessories are SU ribbon, circle punches, and silver eyelets. I had a great time making these and I think I will use the same layout for my son's Christmas picture. Have a great weekend! Hugs, Ana

Wishing You Wednesday

Hello everyone! Today I have a card featuring the My Favorite Things "Home for the Holidays" stamp set. I tried to create a cozy and warm Christmas scene. When I stamped the tree I did some masking so that the fireplace would appear to be slightly behind the tree. I tried to create depth that way. I colored in my images with my favorite prisma colors and gamsol. (BTW I just purchased Copics for Christmas and I can't wait to get my hands on them!!) Once I finished coloring the scene I added some stickles to the fireplace and Christmas tree lights. I then matted it with SU Chocolate Chip card stock. Other paper used is SU Old Olive, River Rock, and Basic Grey "Figgy Pudding" PP. After I adhered the papers to the card base I took my main image and added some hardware tags on each side. I ran some twill ribbon through them and tied bows on each end. I really like how it brought everything together. Well that is it for my cozy Christmas scene. I call this one Roasted Chestnuts. Too Cute Tuesday

Isn't this stamp from Stampendous too cute?!!? I think so :) He is the last of the two stamps from the Nativity collection I bought. But I am thinking I want to buy the rest of them. *grin* So for the card I colored in the main image with my trusty prisma colors and gamsol. I added a few details to the image by dabbing some stickles on the grass and hay. The lambs also have liquid pearls. (My new favorite toy) I matted him on SU Chocolate Chip and adhered him on some green "Figgy Pudding" card stocked with is also matted with Chocolate Chip. I added some eyelets to the corners of the green panel. The base of the card is SU Kraft and again I added Basic Grey "Figgy Pudding" pp to the lower half. The card is finished off with some wide twill ribbon. I frayed the edges for added dimension. Stay tuned for some more Christmas cards tomorrow.

Sunday Afternoon

Hi Everyone!! It's Sunday afternoon and I am enjoying some much needed stamping time. I recently ordered some Stampendous nativity stamps and I have been dying to play with them. I absolutely LOVE them. Today I have a card featuring the Blessed Family stamp. I colored them in with my prisma colors and added some stickles to the star. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things "Sassy Sayings". I did some paper piercing around the main image for added detail. I then matted it with SU Sahara Sand and Chocolate Chip card stock. Other SU card stock is So Saffron. The patterned paper is Basic Grey "Figgy Pudding". Other accessories are SU eyelets and twill. Stay tuned for some more Stampendous cards tomorrow. MFT Stamp Release Day

Wow! If you didn't check out the My Favorite Things cocktail party last night you missed out on some fun and laughter. We had such an awesome turn-out. It was so great that it was hard to keep up with all the posts. I can't wait until next months party! So today I have a few more cards that I made featuring the new sets that are now available at the MFT store. The first one is using the "Rain or Shine" set. I colored in the girl's rain coat with my prisma colors and gamsol. The card stock used is SU Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Whisper White, Kraft, Real Red, and Basic Grey PP. Accessories are SU ribbon, brads, and paper piercing mat and template. For the second card I used the "Icing on the Cake" set. I colored in the cakes with my prisma colors again. I adorned the cakes with K&Co rhinestones. The ribbon is a spool I found hidden in my ribbon box. I know its not SU so I am thinking I bought it at Mike's. The sentiment is matted with a nestabilites scalloped rectangular die cut. Card stock is from MFT's new pink Digi Paper and SU Pomegranate, Kraft, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White. To complete the card I added some SU gold eyelets to the four corners of the main image. Well I hope you enjoyed my MFT sneak peaks. Now I can't wait to see what everyone else has made with theirs. MFT Sneaky Peaky #3

We are only hours away from the new My Favorite Things release!! I hope you are excited because we have some really cool games, prizes, and fun planned for you before the big reveal on the SCS MFT Member Forum cocktail party. I think what I am most excited about is the Guest designer contest challenge. I can't wait to see all the entries and see who Cammie and Jen pick as the winner. The MFT DT will also have some exclusive card samples that will be released during the cocktail party. But for right now I have a couple of cards to share with you featuring the new "Rain or Shine" and "Icing on the Cake" set. The first one was made using the cute little umbrella, rain clouds, and rubber boots images from "Rain or Shine." I stamped the images with my Versa Magic dew drops since I find that these are the best for solid acrylic stamps. I cut out one rain cloud and added some crystal effects for added dimension. Then I stuck some 3d glue dots to the cloud and the rubber boots to make them pop. The card stock is a mixture of SU, Basic Grey, and MFT Digi Paper. For SU I used Pretty in Pink, Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White. Other accessories not mentioned are SU ribbon and prisma colors for the boots. The second sample is from the "Icing on the Cake" set. I also used the new Petaloo Magnetic tags that are now also available at the MFT store. So for the cupcakes I did some masking to create the tiered stand. I colored them in with prisma colors and added some stickles on the frosting. The card stock is once again MFT Digi paper (I LOVE this stuff) and SU So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White. To embellish the gift tag holder I used some SU ribbon, circle punches, a Maya Road clear bloom, and a Paper Studio pink brad. I used my cropadile to punch the hole through the magnet. Inside the tag I made a little pocket so you can slide a gift card. I really love these tags and they really come in handy when you need a quick gift idea. MFT Sneaky Peaky #2

Hi again! Today I have another sample featuring the new upcoming My Favorite Things mini of the month that will be released tomorrow night. I tried a few new techniques on this card. I still colored in the main image with my prisma colors but this time I added liquid pearls to resemble the snow. I really like how this effect came out. I also added crystal effects on the snowman to give him an icy look. I added a close up of the detail to the main image. I also did some stamping on twill with the accessories included in the set. I colored in the mittens with my SU markers. Since I felt that just the twill ribbon was not popping enough against the background patterned paper I went ahead and tied some of my "as seen in every card" chocolate chip wide ribbon. For card stock I picked SU River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Whisper White, and Figgy Pudding PP. To complete the card I added some red brads. I hope you are enjoying my sneaky peaks. MFT Sneak Peak #1

Hi All! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I, for one, got tons of stamping done. *Whoot Whoot* Most of the stamping is for the upcoming My Favorite Things release on December 3rd. Kim from MFT has some awesome stamp sets designed that you will all love. For today's sneak peak I have one of the three to share and it's called "Baby It's Cold Outside". It's this month's mini and I absolutely love it. I features the trademark headless girl building a cute little snowman. It comes with tons of winter says and snowman accessories. Oh, and I forgot to mention that MFT is also releasing their first ever digital paper collection. Both of the cards where made with the new line. The best part of the digital papers is that you have an endless supply at your fingertips plus they take up very little ink. I printed almost all the papers in the collection and I barely saw a dent on my colored ink supply. Pretty cool if you ask me :) So now for the details of the cards. Both images were colored in with my prisma colors and gamsol. On the pink card I stamped the image on SU WW and on the red one I used Kraft. They create different effects. On the first card I added crystal effects and dazzling diamonds glitter to the snowman and snowflake tag. Its supah sparkly IRL. Other card stock used is SU Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, and Real Red. Accessories are SU ribbon, circle punches, eyelets, and 3d glue dots. For the second card I tried to make it more striking and not so cutesy by adding SU Basic Black and Going Gray card stock. I also added a touch of silver with SU eyelets.
